It’s a holiday weekend, but we launched this business .. so, of course, it’s grind time.
Shawn is giving his equipment some TLC, then doing shirts for Chris Walde‘s July 9th magic show.
I am writing this post, then will upload a bunch of designs to the shop.
Giving up holiday festivities will be well worth it next year when someone says — You’re so lucky! I wish I could stay at home and do nothing all day, too.
LOL. Always happens. The grind is invisible, then success is just “lucky.”
I am going to list some numbers to compare with next year’s Independence Day weekend numbers, so it’s…….
Statistics Time!
“We” “our” means Shawn – my son – and his ‘fancy’ equipment printing every shirt, every item – and…
Me – #mamateed – and my computer, nicknamed Frankenstein, doing the website and shirt designs while the piggies supervise.
* Support | besides encouraging friends, we both enhance Teed Designs’ luck by having “normal” jobs where we trade our time for cash so we can eat, and keep our respective roofs – rooves? – over our heads. This allows Teed Designs to grow without having to support our coffee addiction.
* 22 days ago! | June 10th 2022 And so, the adventure begins! .. yes! it began, by “it” I am referring to the website, not the decision to go into the t-shirt printing business……
* Teed Designs, the true beginning | will try to figure out the date of Teed Designs’ actual conception during a telephone conversation, which went like — “……. why does having shirts printed always have to be so frustrating??! .. we have the skills we should just start our own t-shirt business!” .. LOL + LOL + {silence} = we could just start our own t-shirt business!!! .. and, the adventure truly began – saaa’weet!
* The banner at the top of our homepage | TeedDesigns.com . Website Design . New! . In Progress!
* This notice is live on the homepage | Yes!! We are adding content, but the website is fully functioning… Order shirts .. Contact us .. Hire us for custom projects .. .. .. just please pardon “the few moving boxes you may see while we unpack and move in.”
* Our shop | 7 items listed.
* Our blog | 10 posts.
* Brand Partners | no “s” is needed, Chris is our first and only .. yes, we have more in talks, but their designs are not on the site .. yet.
* Mailing list subscribers | our newsletter audience is 10 subscribers .. Mailchimp says, “+1 (+10%) this week” – +1 is better than a zero, we’ll take it! .. though, two of the subscribers are us, which means we really have 8 subscribers .. thank you, thank you, thank you to our 8!
Need to come up with a benefit for being in our top #? subscribers to thank you/them for jumping on board early.
* Instagram | 23 followers + 9 posts
* Ebay | it’s only a name right now, Teed_Designs .. brand spankin’ new, nothing, nadda, not even crickets.
* Etsy | well, it’s slightly different and longer story. I’ll most likely add another post with its history, but for now — it’s empty, shows 136 sales and 28 admirers; though, none from this new Teed Designs.
* Our Poshmark closets | Shawn‘s -mostly men’s clothing- 754 followers + 115 listings .. Mine -mostly woman’s clothing- 10.475 followers + 328 listings
* Twitch streams | Shawn @teedmma .. Mine @kimberlyteed 329 followers .. Shawn uses his to be in streamers chats .. I used to stream creative while I worked.
* YouTube .. youtube? .. youuuuutube! .. yeah, no youtube .. yet!
Though, it’s an old account that we only posted random videos on, so when we do start with 1,010 subscribers.
* TikTok .. not even on the radar right now.
* Site stats | Today 10 views . Best ever 24 views . All time 914 views
